Do not drive if the check engine light is flashing.Just purchased a used pontoon boat with a 2007 Suzuki DF115 outboard. Common failures that cause a misfire include: a bad spark plug, ignition coil, catalytic converter, mass air flow sensor. While a whole range of problems can cause a solid check engine light, if your Suzuki check engine light is flashing, it signals a misfire. It says that it is reset when battery increases above 9 volts. Caution buzzer sounds in a series of long (1.5 second) beeps.
Re: Blinking symbol on tacometer Suzuki D140 The manual says that a low battery voltage caution is activated when voltage decreases to less than 9 volts for 30 seconds.
